Hello, my name is Ayesha Jamil! This is my second year teaching 4th grade at Marion Earl Elementary school. I grew up in Wimbledon in England and love to play and watch tennis!
I have a degree in Economics from the University of London (SOAS). After university I worked in banking. I then moved into business journalism and worked as a TV producer in Canada!
I am married, have two sons and a cute little dog named Nike! I love to swim, read about the world, travel and run! My husband loves surfing, rock climbing and camping! My sons love sports. One plays lacrosse and the other soccer! I am always at a practice or a game!
We have been in Las Vegas for 5 years and we lived in Boca Raton. Florida for 10 years.
I moved into education and retrained as a teacher as I find teaching very rewarding and fulfilling. I love to instill the idea of “growth mindset”, and believe that with hard work all students can reach their dreams. I am so grateful for my varied life experiences and believe that they allow me to connect with a wide range of students. Come visit me in fabulous 4th grade!!

Hello! My name is Mrs. Jefferies. This will be my fourth year teaching. Previously I taught third grade in California before moving to Las Vegas. I attended college at California State University Fullerton where I received my Bachelors of Science in Child Growth & Development as well as my Masters in Instruction and Curriculum. I absolutely love teaching and am always aiming for school to be a place that students enjoy!
My husband is a firefighter for the city of Las Vegas. In our free time we love to hang with our dogs (Raider & Dixie), camp, snowboard, and enjoy the outdoors!
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!

I'm just a good ol' boy from Kentucky. I've been a Marion Earl Eagle for 4 years now. I've taught both 4th and 5th grades. I'm also the leader of Guys with Ties, a club designed to turn boys into upstanding gentlemen. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelors in Elementary Education, where I met my wife, a little southern belle from Alabama. We got married right after college, then moved to sunny Las Vegas where she found a gig on the radio (Dave & Mahoney Morning Show, 107.5). I love being outside (except when it's 100+ degrees outside), riding my Harley, and most of all, I love being a teacher! Apart from teaching math, reading, etc., I also teach students the skills to develop hard work ethic, mental wellness, and so much more!
