Pearl Alamshaw

Hello!
My name is Pearl Alamshaw and my students call me Ms. Pearl. I teach the Primary Autism Class, K-2, here at Marion Earl. I started working here as a Teaching Assistant, and am beginning my fourth year as a licensed Teacher. I grew up in Canada and received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Carleton University, in Ottawa. I also recently earned my Master’s Degree in Special Education with an endorsement in Autism, from UNLV. I have been married for 23 years and have two amazing sons who are now 18 and 19. Since getting married, I have lived and worked in three different states, as well as  in Canada. I have been working with neurodiverse children in various home and school settings for over 25 years. It is truly my passion! I learn as much from my students as they do from me. My belief as a teacher is to “Always Presume Competence”. I highly value working together with parents to help ensure that each and every child reaches his/her maximum potential.

Hello! I'm Claire McGartland. This is my sixth year at Marion Earl and my eleventh year teaching. I received my undergrad at Eastern Illinois University and Masters at Western Governors University.

I was born in Arizona, but lived most of my life in a suburb of Chicago. My husband and I have a daughter named Finleigh. We love going to country concerts and when it's nice out, we love going on family walks and bike rides.

I am so excited for another wonderful year here at Earl!

Hi! I am France Pablo. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have my 5-year teaching experience in my home country as a Special Education teacher and I have started my teaching journey here at Marion Earl last February 2021.

Working with kind-hearted and supportive staff and having a contribution to the success of my students here is really a great privileged. I am proud to be part of Eagle Family!

I love to travel, outdoor activities, and water adventures.

Let's all make learning fun and meaningful for this school year!
